Do you ever wonder how long therapy should last? Will it be a quick few sessions or will it be years?

The answer is, either! It really just depends on individual circumstances and preferences.

The past couple of weeks have really highlighted to me that both long term and short term can be extremely effective in their own ways. So I decided to summarise the benefits of both.

Last week I said “goodbye for now” to a couple of clients who had quite short and very productive blocks of therapy. It was amazing to witness their transformations in such a short space of time. They have paused their therapy for now as they had reached a healthy endpoint, but they know they can return at any time for top ups or further blocks if required.

While these short term blocks came to an end, I also have a few long term clients who recently reached 4 year therapy anniversaries! It has honestly been such an honour to be a part of their journey for this length of time! It has really allowed us to dig deep & work on long term healing.

Like many things in life, therapy is not a destination, it’s a journey, & everyone’s journey is unique ❤️
